Summary

Comspec is looking for a skilled and experienced QA tester to join our professional services team. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for assisting with the software quality assurance testing of complex global information management systems. This opportunity will call on your experience creating and executing test cases, and detecting and reporting software defects using manual and automated testing. You will perform functionality, integration, user-interface and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise, detail oriented test plans and test cases based on functional specifications
• Perform both new functionality and regression tests; identify, rate and report issues for follow-up
• Liaise with development team, project management and business owners for testing and QA related functions via daily teleconferences as required
• Ensure the integrity of test material by maintaining procedures and guidelines for updating and archiving regression tests
• Utilize QA procedures and methodologies where applicable
• Coordinate adaptation of new and existing tests to streamline test operations
• Recommend standards for the development of test procedures

Required Skills and Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience as a QA tester
• Experience working with web based enterprise management systems
• Analytical, thorough, logical, detail-oriented, team player
• Impeccable written and oral communication skills
• Business-oriented; ability to interpret scope/requirements documentation and understand the technical implementation of same requirements set
• Ability to write test plans from software requirements and use cases
• Proficient in MS Office

Desired Skills and Experience
